Why Falcon City Furniture Wears Out Fast
Falcon City of Wonders is one of Dubai's largest villa communities. The homes are big, the families are bigger, and the furniture gets used constantly. Dining tables in Al Dana villas host three meals a day for families of eight or more. Sofas in Al Khail clusters endure daily lounging and weekend gatherings. Outdoor furniture on terraces faces 45°C heat, UV radiation, and sandstorms that strip varnish and crack rattan.
We also see a lot of imported furniture here. Residents buy beautiful pieces from Home Centre, IKEA, or overseas — but flat-pack construction and particle board do not survive Dubai's climate or heavy family use. The cam locks loosen, the veneer bubbles from humidity, and the legs split under weight. Replacing a 5,000 AED dining set because the legs are loose is wasteful. Repairing it for a few hundred dirhams is the smart choice.
