Wobbly or Unstable Base
A chair that rocks or feels like it might tip is either a cracked base or a broken base leg. The five-star plastic or aluminium base on most office chairs can crack from impact or from a user who exceeds the weight rating. We replace the individual leg or the full base depending on the extent of the damage.
Broken or Snagging Wheels

If the chair's frame is structurally sound and the fault is isolated — a gas lift, a set of castors, a mechanism — repair is almost always the right call. You're spending AED 80-200 to get years more life out of a chair that might have cost AED 600-1,500 originally.
Even upholstery replacement makes financial sense on a good-quality chair. A full reupholster for AED 400-700 on an executive leather chair that would cost AED 2,000+ new is an easy decision, and the result genuinely looks and feels like new.

When Replacement Is Better
If the chair is a low-cost model that was never particularly well built, and multiple things have gone wrong at once, the repair cost can start to approach what a decent replacement would cost. In that case, we'll tell you — we'd rather be straight with you than take your money for a repair that won't last.
Similarly, if the base has cracked catastrophically or the frame has buckled from impact, the structural repair required may not be worth the cost relative to replacement. We assess this honestly on every job.
