The rod itself, the brackets that hold it, or the wall anchors — any of these can fail. In Dubai's concrete and marble-heavy construction, the wall anchor is usually the culprit. We re-drill with the right fixings for the wall type so the pole stays up for years, not weeks.
Curtain Track & Glider Repair
Ceiling-mounted and wall-mounted tracks lose gliders, develop bends, or have the end stops break off. Individual gliders and runners can be replaced without removing the whole track. We source matching parts for standard and custom profiles used widely across Dubai apartments.
Roller Blind Repair
Roller blinds that won't roll up fully, stop mid-way, or drop suddenly have a failed spring mechanism or a control chain that's jumped off the sprocket. We replace the internal mechanism or restring the chain — and for fabric that's torn or delaminated, we can replace that too.
Venetian & Aluminium Blind Repair
Venetian blind cords fray and snap over time, especially in Dubai's dry heat which accelerates cord degradation. Tilt rods strip out so the slats won't angle. We restring blinds completely, replace broken slats, and fix tilt mechanisms — usually on the same visit.
Roman & Pleated Blind Repair
Roman blinds that bunch unevenly, won't lift in a straight line, or have broken rings and loose cords need restringing. The fabric itself can be re-attached if it's come away from the batten. These are fiddly jobs — but straightforward for someone who's done a hundred of them.
Motorised Track & Blind Repair
Motorised curtain systems — either track-based or smart blind motors — are increasingly common across newer Dubai apartments and villas. Dubai's building materials make curtain installation harder than it should be. Concrete walls need proper expansion anchors. Marble walls need diamond-tipped drilling and the right plug. Gypsum needs hollow-wall anchors rated for the curtain's weight. When none of that was done properly the first time, the result is a curtain that pulls out of the wall every few months — until someone fixes it correctly.

When Repair Makes Sense
If the curtain fabric itself is still in reasonable condition but the hardware has failed — brackets, track, cord, mechanism — repair is almost always the right call. You're spending AED 80-200 to get a curtain that cost AED 500-2,000 working properly again. We see this every day, and repair makes financial sense in the vast majority of cases.
When Replacement Is Better
If the fabric has sun-faded badly, has large tears, or the curtain is an older, non-standard track system where parts are simply no longer available — replacement may be the more practical route. We'll tell you honestly if that's the case when we come to assess it. We'd rather give you a straight answer than charge you for a repair that won't look or work right.
