Concrete Walls
Most Dubai apartments and villas have concrete walls — solid, dense, and unforgiving if you use the wrong drill bit. We use SDS rotary hammers with masonry bits and expansion anchors rated for the TV's weight. A 55-inch TV on concrete needs M8 or M10 anchors sunk at least 60mm deep. Anything less and the bracket will work loose over time.
Drywall and Gypsum Walls
Common in newer towers and office partitions, gypsum board has no strength on its own. We always find the metal or timber studs behind the board and fix the bracket directly into them. If the stud spacing does not line up with the bracket holes, we install a plywood backing plate first to spread the load. Toggle bolts are a last resort, never the first choice.
Brick Walls
Older villas and some commercial spaces in Deira and Bur Dubai still have brick walls. The trick is drilling into the brick itself, not the mortar between bricks — mortar crumbles under load. We use masonry bits at low speed to avoid cracking the brick face, then set expansion anchors into the core. A 50kg TV needs at least four solid brick anchor points.
Wood Panel Walls
Wood panels are usually decorative and not structural. We never trust the panel alone to hold a TV. Instead, we locate the studs or backing frame behind the panel and fix through the wood into the solid structure. Where that is not possible, we add a hidden mounting board behind the panel and secure the bracket to that. The panel stays untouched and the TV stays up.
Stone and Marble Walls
Marble and granite feature walls look stunning but crack under impact. We use diamond-core bits with water cooling to drill clean holes without chipping the surface. The holes are then fitted with expansion anchors designed for stone density. We also use masking tape around the drill point to catch any micro-chips. One wrong move and a 10,000 AED wall is ruined.

Can you hide the cables for a cleaner look?
Yes — two ways:
- In-wall routing — cables run through the wall cavity behind the TV down to your devices. This needs a solid wall (not gypsum) and gives the cleanest result.
- Surface trunking — a slim channel painted to match your wall that hides cables without cutting into the surface. Best for rented apartments or gypsum walls.

Is it safe to mount a large TV, and will the mount support the weight?
Yes, as long as the bracket is rated for the TV's weight and the anchors match the wall material. A 75-inch Samsung weighs around 35kg. The bracket needs a 50kg rating minimum (safety margin). On concrete, we use M10 expansion anchors sunk 60mm deep. On gypsum, we fix into studs or add a plywood spreader. We check the VESA pattern on the back of your TV before we arrive to make sure the bracket fits.
Can you mount my TV on a brick or concrete wall?
Concrete is what we mount on most often in Dubai — it is the standard for villas and most apartment towers. Brick is less common but found in older properties in Deira and Bur Dubai. For concrete, we use SDS rotary hammers and expansion anchors. For brick, we drill into the brick itself (not the mortar) and use masonry anchors. Both surfaces hold well when done right.
Do you provide TV mounting for both homes and offices?
Yes. Residential jobs are usually single screens in living rooms or bedrooms. Office jobs range from one screen above a whiteboard to multi-screen video walls for conference rooms. We also handle retail displays, gym setups, and restaurant installations. The process is the same — measure, anchor, level, route cables — but the bracket choice and height vary based on the space.
Can you install a TV above a fireplace?
We can, but we check three things first: the wall material above the fireplace (often different from the rest of the room), the heat output of the fire or heater, and the viewing height. If the heat is too high or the wall is decorative stone that cannot take anchors, we will tell you upfront and suggest alternatives — a side wall, a lower height, or a heat shield. We do not mount where the TV will be damaged or unsafe.
Do you remove old TV mounts before installing a new one?
Yes, removal is included. We unscrew the old bracket, fill the holes if the new mount covers a different area, and patch and paint where needed. If the old mount is in the same spot and the new bracket lines up, we sometimes reuse the anchor points if they are still solid. Either way, the wall is left clean and ready for the new installation.
