Your Wheels.
Our Responsibility.
A wheelchair that isn't working properly isn't just an inconvenience — it stops daily life in its tracks. Dubai Repairs fixes manual wheelchairs, power chairs, and mobility scooters across the city, usually the same day you call.
Wheelchair Repair in Dubai — Handled With Care
For someone who uses a wheelchair every day, even a small fault changes everything. A flat tyre means staying home. A brake that's slipped means staying home. A power chair that won't turn on at 7am on a Tuesday means missing a hospital appointment. Dubai Repairs understands that, and it's why we treat wheelchair repair calls with the same urgency as an emergency callout.
We've been repairing mobility equipment across Dubai for over 18 years — in homes, clinics, care facilities, and hotels. Our technicians work on manual wheelchairs, power wheelchairs, and electric mobility scooters. Most repairs are done at your home or wherever the chair is. You don't need to figure out how to transport a broken wheelchair anywhere — we come to you, diagnose it on the spot, and fix it the same day in most cases.
We give you a clear cost before we touch anything. And if a repair isn't the right answer — if a part is beyond fixing or the chair is too old to be worth the cost — we'll tell you honestly. We'd rather give you a straight answer than take your money for a job that won't hold.

Three Types. Every Fault Covered.
Manual, powered, or scooter — the repair approach is different for each. Here's what we do for each one.
Manual Wheelchairs
The most widely used type across Dubai — in hospitals, care homes, and private residences. Manual chairs take continuous physical stress and the most common faults are flat or worn tyres, broken spokes, bent frames, seized brakes, and worn armrest pads. We carry standard tyre and tube sizes and can complete most manual wheelchair repairs on a single visit without taking the chair away.
Tyres · Brakes · Spokes · Frame · Armrests · FootrestsPower Wheelchairs
Electric powered chairs have both mechanical and electrical fault points. The most common issues we deal with are dead or degraded batteries, faulty joystick controllers, motor faults, drive wheel problems, and seat mechanism failures. We diagnose both sides — electrical and mechanical — and carry common battery replacements and controller components for the most popular models used in Dubai.
Battery · Joystick · Motor · Drive Wheels · Seat MechanismMobility Scooters
Three and four-wheel mobility scooters give users greater independence across longer distances — and when they break down, the impact is significant. We repair scooter batteries, tiller controls, seat swivel mechanisms, flat tyres, and electronic faults. For scooters that are too large to bring to us, we'll come to your home or the parking area where it's located.
Battery · Tiller · Tyres · Seat · Electronics
A wheelchair that isn't working is not just inconvenient. It stops someone's day completely. That's why we treat these calls as urgent — every time.
Common Wheelchair Problems We Deal With Daily
Most faults come back to a handful of specific issues. Here's what we see most often — and what we do about each one.
Flat or Worn Tyres
Punctures and tyre wear are the single most common wheelchair fault. We replace with the correct size for your chair — solid, foam-filled, or pneumatic — and can refit on-site in most cases. Solid tyres are recommended for heavy daily use in Dubai's smooth indoor environments.
Battery Not Holding Charge
Power wheelchair and scooter batteries degrade significantly faster in Dubai's heat. A battery that gave 20km range when new may give 5km after two summers. We test the battery properly and replace with the correct capacity and chemistry for your chair model.
Joystick or Controller Fault
A joystick that drifts, doesn't respond, or gives error codes on the display has either a wiring fault, a damaged potentiometer, or a control unit issue. We diagnose which component has failed and repair or replace it — without defaulting to a full controller replacement when a smaller fix will do.
Brakes Not Engaging Properly
Brakes that don't lock firmly on a manual chair are a safety issue, not a cosmetic one. Worn brake pads, stretched cables, or a bent brake lever are the usual causes. We adjust, replace, and test until they lock cleanly and hold on an incline before we sign off.
Bent Frame or Broken Footrest
Impact damage, falls, or transport accidents can bend aluminium frames or snap footrest brackets. We assess whether the frame can be safely straightened or needs a replacement section — and for footrests, we source and fit the correct replacement bracket for your chair model.
Seat Cushion & Upholstery Worn
Seat and backrest upholstery that's compressed, torn, or soiled needs replacing — particularly for users who spend long hours in the chair. We supply replacement seat foam and cover materials in vinyl or fabric, fitted correctly to the chair frame, including pressure-relief foam where needed.
We Work on Most Brands in Dubai
We repair wheelchairs and mobility scooters from all major brands available in UAE. If your brand isn't listed, send us a photo — we'll confirm before you book.
What Wheelchair Repair Costs in Dubai
Exact cost quoted on-site before any work starts. These are rough ranges to help you plan.
Free estimate before we start. Home visit included in the repair cost — no separate callout fee.
Power wheelchairs in Dubai lose battery performance faster than the spec sheet suggests. Dubai's heat is harder on batteries than most manufacturers test for.
Why Families & Care Facilities Call Us First
We Come to You — Always
We don't ask you to transport a broken wheelchair anywhere. Our technician comes to your home, care facility, hotel, or clinic — wherever the chair is — and works on it there. For most repairs, the chair is back in service by the time we leave.
24/7 Including Emergencies
A power chair that stops working at midnight isn't something that can wait until Monday. We take emergency calls around the clock and dispatch a technician as quickly as possible — because for many users, this isn't a convenience issue, it's a care issue.
Honest Assessment Every Time
We'll tell you exactly what's wrong, what it costs to fix, and whether it makes financial sense to repair versus replace. If a part isn't worth fixing, we say that — we don't charge for work that won't give you a proper result.
Right Parts, Not Workarounds
We source correct replacement parts for your chair model — correct battery chemistry, correct tyre size, correct joystick profile. A workaround repair that uses the wrong component creates a new problem faster than it solves the first one.
Care Homes & Hospitals Welcome
We work with care facilities that have multiple wheelchairs to maintain, and we offer service contracts for regular inspection and maintenance. Preventive maintenance is always cheaper than emergency breakdown repair.

Repair or Replace? The Straight Answer.
When Repair Makes Sense
If the frame is structurally intact and the fault is a specific component — a tyre, a battery, a brake cable, a joystick — repair is almost always the right call. A good manual wheelchair costs AED 500–3,000. A good power chair costs AED 5,000–25,000. Spending AED 100–400 on a repair to extend that life by several years makes straightforward financial sense.
We see people replace perfectly good chairs because of a single repairable fault. It's a waste of money, and it's something we're happy to prevent by giving you an honest assessment first.
When Replacement Is Smarter
If the frame has buckled severely, the motor has failed completely on an old chair where parts are no longer available, or the electronics have failed in a pattern that suggests deeper degradation — replacement may make more sense than continued repair investment.
We'll tell you clearly when we reach that point. We're not going to charge for a repair that gives you three more months and then fails again. An honest conversation about replacement is better for you — and better for us in the long run.
